Who are Singapore’s Permanent Secretaries? They’re the people who are effectively running the civil service behind the scenes. I thought it would be nice to get to know them better.
At the time of writing, 100% of them are Chinese, and 12 out of 16 of them are men.

5. Ministry of Law – Ng How Yue
He was previously principal private secretary to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. [source]

6. Ministry of Home Affairs – Pang Kin Keong

- Mr Pang was the Director of the Internal Security Department (ISD) in 2008 when the terrorist Mas Selamat bin Kastari escaped. [source]

7. Ministry of Manpower – Aubeck Kam
