- a very important and powerful skill, that for a long time never even occurred to me that I had, is as follows: don’t assume that someone is saying something that they didn’t actually say. that’s it. that’s like 80% of good reading comprehension and good listening skills.
- I swear I never set out to talk about any of this stuff when I decided to be a poaster or writer or whatever. but it turns out people are incredibly varied when it comes to basic info hygiene principles, so it feels necessary to at least point out. (Also, turns out this is one of The Four Agreements)
