Growing up in Singapore, I’ve always seen these breezeblocks just casually hanging out in the architecture

in 2020 i tweeted “I wonder who was the first person who used tiles for flooring and what the thought process there was. I know there are like ancient Roman mosaics and stuff… just thinking about that first guy who was like, yes, this stuff goes on the floor
