Fear of death and future loss. Threats only work on humans.
Farming of humans = most profitable and destructive. Reaching its destructive climax.
Series of farms, human farmers own human livestock.
Governments provide healthcare, water, education, roads. Imagined benevolence. Farmers too provide healthcare and irrigation and training to their livestock.
You are given your liberties so that your farmer can earn greater profits.
4 major phases of human farming:
Ancient Egypt- direct and brutal human compulsion. Bodies were controlled, but the direct creative productivity of the human mind remained beyond the reach of the whip, brand, shackles. Slaves remained woefully underproductive and required enormous resources to control.
Rome. Slaves granted some capacity for freedom, ingenuity and creativity. Raised productivity. Increased wealth of Rome. Tax income of Rome government. Built Rome Empire. Destroying the economic freedoms that fed its power, and collapsed.
US Military Expansion, British extension
Feudal Model- livestock ownership, taxation
Peasants not directly owned- they had to pay tax on the land. Model broke down due to subdivision of land. Peasants kicked off ancestral lands because new farming techniques more productive.
Later Middle Ages increased productivity- excess foods -> expansion of towns and cities
modern democratic model of human ownership
huge stock of cheap human capital, ruling class of human farmers allowed their livestock to choose their own occupations.
direct slave ownership replaced by the mafia model. Mafia don’t own business directly- send thugs to steal from business owners.
You are now allowed to choose your own occupation, which raises your productivity, and the taxes you can pay to your masters.
Your freedoms are profitable to your owners. Increases in wealth and freedom beyond a certain level threaten the farmers.
1: Indoctrinate the young through government “education”. Control the thoughts and souls of the livestock.
2: Turn livestock against each other in the dependent model
3: Direct force is difficult to use and cripplingly underproductive (see North Korea)
We don’t breed well or produce well in perceived captivity
Put some of the livestock on the payroll of the farmer. Cows on the payroll of the heirarchy will attack any other cows that point out the violence, hypocrisy and immorality of human ownership
Police, Media- don’t need to control directly. Those dependent on the owner will violently oppose any who question human ownership.
Invent continual external threats so that the livestock cling to the protection of the farmers. (You’re more likely to die by police than by terrorist.)
Massive increase in Western wealth- economic freedoms – fed and size and power of the state.
Growth of state proportional to preceding economic freedoms. Freedom metastasizes the cancer of the state. Smallest government ends up the largest.
No viable alternative to a truly free and peaceful society.
Without political rulers/human ownership/violence ot taxation and statism. To be truly free is both very easy and very hard. We avoid the horror of our enslavement because it is so painful to see it directly. We dance around the endless violence of our dying system because we fear the attacks of our fellow Livestock.
But we can only be kept in the cages we refuse to see.
Wake up.
