Vision: To contribute to human welfare by diminishing ignorance

I want to contribute to human knowledge and welfare. How does one do that? There’s a central structure at the root of it all, like a hive of sorts. A contribution does not have to be quantitative, the greatest value is, after all, quality. I’ll try not to waste too much time, energy and resources splitting hairs and arguing semantics- there are enough people, far more qualified that me who’re already doing that. I must discover what my unique contribution can be, and these ruminations are manifestations of attempts to precipitate this discovery.

I freeze, momentarily lost. I must have faith and let go, let it flow- to allow the the combined efforts and wisdom of millions of men and women before me, through me, and allow them to take shape, to take precedence over the inhibitations imposed by my personal consciousness.

I want to diminish ignorance, to provoke thought and critical engagement, and I want this to influence everybody- for our problems and concerns are too numerous, varied and complex for any individual to claim to have a complete understanding of. The central focuses are on perception and decision-making. We need more entrepreneurial thinkers, people who set out to resolve problems as they see them. It’s far too wasteful to restrict this to an arbitrarily small group of people.

“ruminations are manifestations of attempts to precipitate”
    –>
    Replace with
    “attempts to precipitate”
“ruminations are an attempt to precipitate”
To begin to change the world, one must begin to reduce the superfluous. ๐Ÿ˜€
