I always have some trouble getting things started because I never really know where to begin. Do you start right at the beginning? I don’t think that’s a really good idea- you’ll need to begin strongly, and you’re never at your strongest when you’re just starting out. You could say the same for the end. So I suppose it would be good to begin somewhere around the middle, with something that’s familiar but not too important, yet interesting enough to sustain yourself. It should be easy to remember, somewhat meaningful but not too much.
I’ll begin, then, with something that wasn’t too long ago- my time in junior college. I suppose we should begin with the basic facts. During PAE, I was posted to Nanyang JC. I was hoping to go to St. Anthony’s JC because I thought the uniform and campus were really cool and I really liked the vibe of the school, and I actually forgot that I had put NYJC as my second choice. (I figured that if I didn’t make it to SAJC, I’d probably end up in Catholic JC).
PAE in NYJC was really fun- while I was there, at least. I didn’t know what to expect because I knew absolutely nothing about the school. The people in my orientation group were quite soft-spoken and shy, but we had loads of fun together. I hardly attended school after orientation though- I went for the first week of classes
