1) At what age do you wish to marry?

Age is not confined to a number, but if I had to estimate, probably about 28-30. Honestly, once I’m financially stable and with the right person, anything goes! I’d probably backpack or do something crazy with my wife-to-be, and if we’re still good then we’d get hitched =D

2) Study hard or play hard?

Play hard. Play very, very hard!

3) Who is the person you trust the most?

Myself.

4) Do you think you have enough confidence?

Yes, definitely! More than enough! You can have some of mine.

5) If you can have a dream, what would it be?

To be financially stable enough to do everything I’m passionate about- record and sell albums and tour with my band, and when the time comes, own a live venue and help the local music scene prosper. To be a great dad to my kids, to always be surrounded by friends who care, to die happy and be remembered fondly.

6) Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?

Literally or figuratively? In both cases, yes. Usually it’s not immediate, but shows up after a while.

7) What is your goal for this year?

– finish Armchair Critic’s “Hello World!” EP and sell 500 copies
– pay back everybody who I owe money to
– promote with flying colours!
– possibly some romance

8) Do you believe in eternity love?

*suppresses Grammar Nazi* Our time here is not eternal, so how can our love be? Love doesn’t has to be forever to be meaningful and to make a difference.

9) Have you broken someone’s heart that he/she tried to commit suicide?

I hope not!

1o) What feeling do you love the most?

Satisfaction. A warm, filled stomach and a soft bed after a long, hard day. Ending a song on a strong high note, and having that split second of silence to yourself before the crowd goes crazy. A warm, firm hug from a person you love. Quiet, peaceful time spent with friends without having to say a word. That lovely moment before you score a goal, sink a hoop or pocket a shot where everything slows down and lets you relish it.

11) What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?

I once wrote an entire blog post on this. Look it up.

12) What feeling do you hate the most?

That punch-in-the-stomach feeling when you realise you just did something terribly wrong and had absolutely no intention to do so whatsover.

13) Do you cherish every friendship of yours?

Yes, absolutely!

14) What do you think is the most important thing in your life?

Speaking my mind, being true to myself and my peers, living without regrets and dying happy.

15) Who do you hope to be always there for you?

Myself. None of you guys have to, and I’m honoured by those of you who are.

16) Do you believe in God?

Nope, sorry! I believe that we are all in control of our own lives. Our existence does not need a higher purpose- we can find our own. We don’t need to be rewarded or punished to do good- it is it’s own reward. It is cocky for us to assume that we are any more important that anything else in the universe. Besides, the arguments against God are far stronger than the arguments for God, which often involve blind faith and circular logic.

17) Who is your best friend?

It changes from time to time.

– Mariam and I were best friends a decade ago, and I can still talk to her when I need to.
– It was JS during the St. Hilda’s days, and I can still talk to him too.
– I didn’t particularly have a best friend in VS- everybody was so awesome. I still have many memories from the 4B’06 boys and love to run into any of them from time to time!
– Sharan become my best friend when we started talking on MSN everyday, and still is now.
– The 519A group is awesome- Po Liang, Boon and Jeannette! I don’t get to meet Kah Siong, Cheryl, Sharifa, Yixin so often because it’s pretty inconvenient, but I still love running into them all the time.
– Ahmad and Boon are my lovelies who, in these two years, have shared and grown with me more than anybody else in my life and to them I will be forever greatful.

18) Who cares for you the most?

Probably my parents, much as I’d hate to admit it. Followed by the people mentioned in the previous question.
