So many of you guys are breaking down, falling apart, losing sleep, crying, hurting yourselves.
I wish I could give each and every one of you a hug! (you’re entitled to them, just ask if you see me around.)
Life is more than just making a grade or getting stellar qualifications or a high paying job. Those things are nice to have, but you don’t have to beat yourself up just because you’re struggling in the process.
And always remember, there are people who care.
I don’t know the relevance of this, but I think it’s very important to have something you’re passionate about, something to live for. Whether it’s religion, art, music, animal rights, literature, fashion, anything at all.
Relationships too. Friends and family. We’re not alone on this big rock, and we don’t have to be.
Don’t lose so much sleep either!
That’s it in a nutshell maybe. Life is about good health, independence, meaningful relationships with those around you, and something to be passionate about.
(PS: I got straight U’s for my midyears and I’m totally about to do the same for my promos. See you in J1 next year!)
congrats =] xoxo

school is something to be passionate about as well. yes, its not just the grades, but the learning process as well, but we all need affirmation for our efforts or a gauge of our success. if you’re a musician, you want to know that you’ve written good music. if you’re a painter, you want to know that you’ve done a painting that people can appreciate. if you’re passionate about something, it’s worth losing sleep over. 🙂
